I like his relentless commitment to make the tackle. He loves getting to the ball carrier in an aggressive fashion. I notice he is an extremely fundamentally sound tackler. Not a lot of players can hit hard and wrap. Your son does both, which allows him to stop the player in his tracks and bring him down. A lot of guys can hit hard with their shoulder and head down, and try and knock the ball carrier down, which lead to backs bouncing back, spinning, and gaining extra yards. Your son made a ton of solo tackles, without the back gaining a single extra yard. I can tell he has some good training and good coaching. Most noticeable he has an LB mentality which can't be trained or coached. Nice work.
