I am currently a data processing shift manager for Lender Processing Services a subsidiary of FNF companies, where I have been employed for the past 24 years. I was born in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up on the north side of town. I graduated from William M. Raines Sr. High School in 1981 where I played Football and Baseball for the “Never Say Die” Vikings. After high school, I went to the University of Florida where I became a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Inc. in 1982 and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. a Zeta Phi chapter initiated in 1983 and has been an active member of the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter since 1996.
In Kappa, I haves enjoyed the success of Kappa Alpha Psi and the leadership training it provided me through its training for leadership programs. I have used this training in every aspect of my life including the raising my children, my profession, and working with other organizations in the community. I served as Polemarch from (2004-2007), I also served as Vice Polemarch, on the Board of Directors, as chairman of the Black and White Ball, as chairman of the Joint Venture project with the Delta’s, Omega’s and 100 Black men of Jacksonville, as co-chairman of the golf committee, and as co-chairman of fund raising. I have served as a Director on the Fraternity’s 501c3 Foundation and I am currently the Executive Director of the Foundation. I have served on the Southern Province level and I am a life member of both the Southern Province and the National Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. I hold the distinction of having served as the Polemarch, during the Fraternity’s 57th Southern Province celebration which was held in Jacksonville Florida. I have worked with all brothers to help the chapter build a brick wall across the front of the Fraternity house and to help guide the Fraternity move from the 20th century right into the new millennium.
In the community, I served in 1993 on the young executive board of the University Club. I served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Jacksonville from 1992 – 1998. I have worked with the Boy Scouts, Jacksonville Urban League, the NAACP and coached little league sports, in an effort to give back to the community.
After leaving the University of Florida in 1983, I met my beautiful wife and friend JoAnna V. Gamble and we have been united for the past 24 years. We have three loving kids Bryan, Denysha and Jarred and three wonderful and adorable grand kids Isaiah, Layla and Desiree.
