Murphree Spades

Back in the day when boston's were less common and the city slickers from the bottom pretended to be the best at this lil game of spades. Along came a DARK KNIGHT who proclaimed himself KING and vanquished all that got in his way. His words would ring out with aloud disdain" study long -study wrong" he raptured to the heavens. Opponents would not heed and warning and suffered the consequences of the "set". Long live the Boys of Murphree and the challengers from afar.

YEAH, JEFF,
ONE OF THOSE BOSTON'S WAS RUN ON FRANK AND WHOEVER HIS PARTNER WAS!! HIS MEMORY IS A LITTLE FUZZY THESE DAYS FROM EATING ALL OF THAT CHICKEN!!

I thought I would add myself to this group since I spent many,many,many,many nights sitting at the spades table in Murphee Commons.

Well, I must confess...if it wasn't for Murphree Commons(all those late nights)...I probally would have never learn how to play spades. Lol.

Well, I worked in the Murphree commons and therefore seen alot of spades but can you believe, I never learned how to play. I not only worked in the commons but I was always in there watching spades and jamming to the music the Zeta Jackie would play when she was working. Those were the days
